#WhereDesignLives

This year, London Design Festival will see Heal’s celebrate its role as the home of original designs with a brand-new exhibition, spotlighting ten of its most iconic products, alongside a customer event hosted by Matthew Hilton.

For more than two centuries, Heal’s has championed innovation, and established a position as the home of originals as well as the go-to destination for brands. Celebrating London Design Festival, Heal’s will launch an exhibition that pays homage to the design icons at Heal’s over the past century. The exhibition, hosted at the historic Mansard Gallery within the Heal’s flagship store on Tottenham Court Road, will spotlight a variety of design-led products, which have helped solidify Heal’s position as the home of original design. The exhibition will include: Bertoia Diamond chair by Knoll; Barcelona chair by Knoll; Melt pendant by Tom Dixon; Ch24 Wishbone chair by Carl Hansen; Ploum sofa by Ligne Roset; Balzac chair by SCP; Type 75 lamps (including Giant) by Anglepoise; Egg chair by Fritz Hansen; LC4 Chaise by Cassina; Noguchi coffee table by Vitra and Eames lounger by Vitra. Additionally, Heal’s will host an exclusive Q&A with designer of the Balzac chair, Matthew Hilton, during LDF, giving customers the opportunity to discuss the importance of, and influences behind, original design. Marking London Design Festival’s 20th year, which returns to the capital from 17-25 September 2022, Heal’s Design Icons exhibition will be available to visit at the Mansard Gallery throughout LDF.
