About Klara Blazek

 

Klara Blazek is a graphic designer hailing from New York City and currently based in London. She is pursuing an MA in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, where her process-driven design work centers around her Czech-American identity, urbanism, and narrative cartography. Her practice also extends to visualizing music, exploring hidden patterns and systems within an artist’s discography, and conceptualizing collective music memories.

Commercially, Klara’s background is in branding, designing visual identities, and print/digital marketing materials for clients in the non-profit, real estate, health, and media sectors. Her clients include The Tisch Research Center of New York and Brown Harris Stevens, and she has previously worked at Halstead Development Marketing, Adoptive, and Meredith Corporation, designing on the marketing side of the EatingWell, Rachel Ray Every Day, and Allrecipes magazines.
