About Lauren Rolwing

Based in Nashville, Lauren Rolwing graduated from The Savannah College of Art & Design in 2008 in illustration and fashion. Lauren’s style is bold, reductive yet stylish and she cites a broad range of influences on her work – from the work of designers Paul Rand, Bruno Munari, Ikko Tanaka, and children’s illustrator Kveta Pacovská, to the 80s ads of San Franciscan clothing company Esprit, the clothes of Comme des Garçon and Issey Miyake, the humour, patterns and colour of the work of Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass, and beyond to the films of Fellini, Bergman and Jacques Tati.

Using geometric forms, beautiful curves and bold colours, Lauren creates powerfully graphic, eye-popping illustrations free of superfluous detail for clients that include Unilever, Adidas, Siemens, FILA, The New York Times, The Guardian, Nissan, Stella magazine (The Telegraph), Starwood Hotels & Resorts, McDonald's Japan, Colette, Warby Parker, Siemens, Paris Airport, Westfield, Cadogan Estates, Pearson, Brummell, Frieze, Wall Street Journal and Refinery29.
