eba Marylebone is pleased to present Crafting with Light, a special event during the London Design Festival celebrating the transformative role of light in contemporary interiors. Hosted in collaboration with Studio Toer and Moooi, the event explores how light extends beyond its functional purpose to become an architectural material capable of shaping space, defining atmosphere and influencing the way we inhabit our environments. At eba, light has always been understood as an essential design element—one that brings depth, rhythm and emotion to interior architecture. This philosophy is reflected throughout our showroom, where a curated selection of Moooi lighting, including designs by Studio Toer, forms an integral part of the spatial experience. During the evening, Studio Toer will share the creative thinking and craftsmanship behind their lighting designs for Moooi, revealing how experimentation, materiality and technology come together to create poetic objects that interact with both architecture and the people who inhabit it. The conversation will offer insights into their design process and their vision of light as a dynamic, living element that transforms interiors through subtle, indirect and carefully orchestrated illumination. The evening will conclude with an intimate private concert by Risa Michelle Sekine, creating a unique dialogue between light, music and space, and reinforcing the immersive character of the experience.
