Discover the art of lampworking and shape molten glass in the flame to create your own everlasting flower. A craft concept store showcasing handmade floral works, glass flowers, curated ceramics, home objects and selected gifts, with workshops.

For London Design Festival, Song Art & Craft will open its London studio as a craft concept store, curated retail space and working creative studio. Our workshop will present a selection of original handmade floral works and carefully chosen craft objects. The collection will include lampworked glass flowers, ceramic flowers, fabric flowers, decorative floral arrangements, handmade glass pieces, contemporary ceramics, vintage and pre-owned ceramics, home decoration items and selected gifts. Song Art & Craft combines retail, craft, design and hands-on making within one space. Alongside the product display, visitors will be able to learn more about the materials and processes used to create the work through live demonstrations and selected workshop experiences. The studio offers workshops in lampworking glass, kiln-formed glass, stained glass, glass cup painting, metalwork jewellery and other craft techniques. During the lampworking experience, participants use a torch to heat and shape coloured glass rods into handmade glass flowers. The session includes a demonstration, safety guidance and support from an instructor throughout the making process. The workshops are suitable for beginners and provide an opportunity to work directly with different materials, learn practical craft techniques and create a finished handmade object to take home. All specialist tools, materials and protective equipment are provided. Through this London Design Festival programme, Song Art & Craft will introduce visitors to its handmade products, curated craft collection, creative workshops and future direction as a craft concept store and retail destination.
