This commission creates a new spiritual world that weaves together Buddhist, ecological and technological beliefs.

The installation features shamanistic deities represented as sculptures 3D printed from recycled clay in partnership with Globe Earth Studio. Echoing with themes of circularity and interconnectedness, these sacred sculptures are embedded with interactive design elements that invite audiences into a tactile and responsive dialogue. Through a digitally sculpted film, Lee expands on the Buddhist concept of impermanence, reframing sculptures as active portals, protagonists and cosmic worlds within themselves. Inspired by the V&A’s historic Buddhist collection, it fuses ancient heritage with contemporary technology, and asks questions about our relationship with non-human consciousness, sacred materiality, and the living environment.
