During London Design Festival Lema will present an exclusive preview of the brand new collection at its London Flagship Store situated at the heart of Chelsea. The new collection is a versatile and complete design symphony for the home, drawing on Lema’s unique traits of versatility, modularity and Made in Italy.
The Chelsea Showroom, situated at 183 King’s Road, will host the most significant new furniture designs that were recently introduced at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. This includes the eco-friendly and versatile Soffio sofa and armchair designed by Norm Architects taking centre stage in the windows bringing their light and airy feel to London, along with the Eureka Bar designed by Steve Leung , a multifunctional storage unit integrating both a refrigerated system and storage for the most precious bottles and glasses. Further along in the Showroom, the brand-new Lullaby bed designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba stands out thanks to its sartorial details, aesthetic research, and attention to details. Together with the namesake night group of bedside tables and storage units, the clean and essential lines make it a harmonious and visually impacting addition. Next, the Niveaux sofa by Federica Biasi adds a contemporary twist to the Store, thanks to its different composition possibilities to express its youthful personality, it is capable of being placed into any space. A further new exciting addition will be the Lina console, designed by Squire & Partners, a system capable of adapting to contemporary needs, a multifunctional furnishing with a minimalist look that thanks to its airy structure is perfect for the entrance hall of a home. Lastly, Soffio will also be presented as a sofa, in its angular version, a living space created from an eco-sustainable perspective, the result of a long design process that has designed this unique product, further, the armchair and sofa are designed to be easily transported and easily disassembled for correct disposal at the end of their life cycle, in complete respect for the environment. Iconic and long-standing Lema designs will be placed alongside the new collections throughout the Showroom including the ever-elegant Galerist display cabinets, stylish Gullwing dining table paired with the best-selling Lucylle dining chairs, as well as the sophisticated Maddox bed to name but a few! In the basement of the Showroom, accessible by descending the Piero Lissoni designed staircase, a focal point of the Showroom, a mini apartment can be accessed. Responding to contemporary compact living needs, Lema has created a fully furnished apartment inclusive of kitchen, night area and living area. This layout will be presented for the first time ever during London Design Festival, with the inclusion of the brand new VentiTre walk-in wardrobe that is perfect to store the most precious clothes and objects. The event will culminate on the 20th of September evening with a cocktail party in-store where acrobatic dancers, in two exclusive acts, will create a spectacle for invited guests interacting through dance and energetic moves with Lema’s furniture.
