New Eileen Gray rug designs at Aram
While Eileen Gray’s renown as a leading modernist designer of furniture is well established, she was also a prolific artist who painted most of her life. She used some of her numerous gouaches as the inspiration for her distinctly attractive rug designs. Aram is very pleased to introduce three new rug designs inspired by Eileen Gray’s gouaches at this year’s LDF. The De Stijl shown in the image, is joined by Cassis and La Lune as wonderful new additions to the existing rug designs by Eileen Gray available at Aram. The new rugs will be on display in Aram’s showroom at 110 Drury Lane, London, WC2B 5SG, 10:00-18:00 Monday to Saturday. Also at www.aram.co.uk.
