Nothing, teenage engineering and KEF present Portable Play. A party of parts, the evening will transform Tom Dixon’s expansive Coal Office into a series of specially curated rooms. Each with their own unique sound and identity. The objective of the event is for guests themselves to be hypermobile. To keep moving, exploring and reflecting on the ways that technology and architecture work can work together to both stimulate and calm the senses. Along the way, portable technology will play its role in navigating the evening and being a catalyst for atmosphere and conversation. Whether it's the Glyph Interface on Phone (2) lighting up a space or an OP-1 soundtracking the surroundings, there will be a surprise around every corner. Sound will play a significant role in the evening, with all three brands emerging as powerful contenders in the world of audio. Joining the line-up will be Saffron Music, a cutting-edge non-profit organisation repping diverse people and sounds at the forefront of electronic music.
