Nestled amongst the pollarded greens of Standard Road, the crittall glass fronted studios houses a number of upcoming names in the design and fashion world.
Set over two floors, and designed by architects Orsini Brewin, the structure evokes the concept of a traditional street ‘block’. This brings together tessellating ground and mezzanine studios, while separate pockets of the building have both upstairs and downstairs spaces. Minimalist interior design is juxtaposed by relics from the surrounding industrial area, including taxidermy and restored mid-century furniture. During the festival, Standard Studios will be opening its doors for attendees to witness the hive of productivity. Listed partners such as Regan Boyce and Koalaa will be holding independent activations in their studio spaces.
