Our three shops sit together on the Pimlico Road, at 76–84 and 103 — all of them Rose Uniacke, a few doors and one road crossing apart. During London Design Festival all three are open. Rose Uniacke is a designer and gallerist. Trained in restoration and conservation, and an antique dealer long before she became an interior designer, her work runs from the bones of a building and the way a space receives light, down to the smallest details of furnishing and decoration. From buildings to contents was a small step. Rose Uniacke Editions followed in 2010 — furniture, lighting and accessories made to Rose's own designs — and in 2017 the Rose Uniacke Fabric Collection, custom-dyed cloth from small mills in Rose's distinctive palette, each addition made with an eye to sustainability. Alongside it all, and of enormous importance to Rose, is the sourcing and restoring of antiques and twentieth-century collectible furniture. At 76–84, our flagship. A changing display of antiques, twentieth century and contemporary furniture and lighting, including pieces designed by Rose and her team, arranged across a series of light-filled rooms with off-white walls and bare, unvarnished boards. The display shifts constantly, as we are always buying, selling and making. Alongside it, our accessories shop: deep-toned and enveloping, where objects sit against dark paintwork.
