Studio by Tai Ping

Renowned for its expertise at creating highly complex couture creations for its trade clients, Tai Ping is introducing a range of decorative rugs, accessible to consumers and the trade alike, with shorter lead times and stock availability, exclusively from the Tai Ping showrooms and website. The curated portfolio of 10x designs will be offered in set sizes (1.7m x 2.4m, 2m x 3m, 2.75m x 3.65m and 3.05m x 4.25m), in a carefully considered colour palette and yarn combination to make them versatile and timeless. This initial offering for the label will focus on interesting textures and graphic, linear designs, as well as painterly patterns with a more fluid and organic aesthetic. The rugs celebrate their responsibly sourced wool and silk materials and are all meticulously crafted with the expertise of Tai Ping’s artisans, using skills honed over many decades. All the designs will be handcrafted in Tai Ping's Xiamen artisan workshop and produced adhering to the same sustainability values and responsible sourcing of materials as its couture collections. Studio by Tai Ping will be showcased at Tai Ping’s flagship showroom on Pelham Street, South Kensington, at a bold and conceptual installation as part of London Design Festival.
