Join the {Tech, No?} community for a panel discussion with industry experts on the rapidly evolving dance between humans and AI. Discover how designers and engineers working at the cutting-edge of contemporary technology are coming together to create new, transformative and more human interaction experiences.

There are large expectations that AI systems, already used in many industries, will become an integral part of our daily lives. This raises questions about how humans, as technologists and moral agents, should interact with and design these systems. Join the {Tech, No?} community for "The Dynamic Human-AI Interactions", a panel discussion that brings together experts from Bentley Motors, University College London (UCL), Imperial College London (ICL), and Microsoft Research. This group of panelists have diverse backgrounds, with shared and diverging visions on the future of human-AI interaction design. Delve into the evolving relationship between humanity and AI, we can't help to ask: As this technology continues to break new ground, how can we design AI systems to work best with people and for people? What does it take to achieve these goals? Are the AI systems that we build best thought of as superior tools, or as collaborators? Guest Speaker: Fergus Laidlaw: Fergus is an artist and creative technologist focused on exploring the natural world through technology. Recently, he's been using generative AI to reflect on the human-built environment. With training in architecture, design, and technology from Cambridge, RCA and ICL, his work centers on designing interactions and objects that explore the potential and future impact of emerging technologies on human experience. Linda Yilin Wen: Linda is a design researcher at Microsoft Research, with a focus on Human-centered AI technology. She's committed to developing safe and accessible AI technology for everyone, regardless of background or ability. She leads UX research on a multidisciplinary team focused on generative AI models for gaming. Linda is passionate about AI's potential to empower game creators worldwide, enabling them to share their unique stories. Ming Kong: Ming is the CEO of TG0, TG0 is a powerful technology platform pioneering the future of human-machine interaction. TG0 is dedicated to transforming the way human interact with technology including AI, making it a seamless and natural extension of our everyday lives. Their patented technology opens new possibilities for touch and pressure-sensitive interfaces, redefining the future of human-machine interaction across industries. Mohamed Abd El Ghani: Mohamed is an experienced automotive engineer and researcher at Bentley Motors.Driven by a passion for innovation and making a positive impact, he identifies gaps in the traditional automotive sector while recognizing its evolving potential. Mohamed excels in crafting strong innovation strategies and understanding emerging technologies, all while pursuing a PhD in HCI/AI Interaction at UCL. He has led various innovation concepts, including mixed reality and AI systems, and holds patents and published papers. Engage directly with our panelists during a live Q&A session. This is your chance to ask burning questions, gain deeper insights, and contribute to the discussion on the future of human-AI interaction. The event will conclude with a networking session, providing an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. {Tech, No?} is a vibrant network founded by London based multidisciplinary designer Xiaoyu Wu, aiming to unite researchers, emerging artists, designers, and diverse professionals in the creative and tech industry. By fostering a collaborative environment through social gatherings, workshops, seminars, and real-world projects, it breaks down traditional silos and encourages the sharing of insights and expertise.
