Eto is a beautifully designed wine decanter that preserves your wine’s full flavour. Using a unique patented design to seal the wine from the air, halt oxidation & reduce wine waste. Invented by award-winning Welsh designer Tom Cotton, eto means ‘again’ in Welsh, so you can enjoy your bottle of wine again & again.
Tom has spent over 20 years bringing products from concept to market. He’s a wine lover and passionate about protecting the environment. Back in 2012, he became interested in designing a product that would reduce wine wastage. It’s a huge environmental problem. In the UK alone, government figures estimate that 50 million litres of wine are poured down the sink annually – that’s enough to fill 333 Olympic-sized swimming pools. He realised that the wine preservation products on the market either didn’t work or were hugely expensive. He wanted to invent a decanter that would reduce wine wastage without diminishing its quality. Over four years, Tom built more than 60 different prototypes in his quest for the perfect wine preservation system and in 2017 eto was born, a sleek and simple, yet highly effective, wine preserving decanter. Eto has also been proven in laboratory tests and blind tastings to preserve the wine's quality for up to two weeks. Now available in 6 stunning finishes.
