TypeThursday London is a monthly event for typography enthusiasts of all disciplines and levels of expertise.
Equal parts informative, entertaining and social, the event is an opportunity for professionals and students alike to discuss their work, and is an ideal place to meet like-minded letterform lovers! A part of the international Type Thursday network, the core aim of this event is to foster an ever expanding, diverse and inclusive network. Submissions from those wishing to present at future events in a lively and supportive environment are actively encouraged. Speakers for this edition as part of London Design Festival are: Ashley Towey, ex-professional cyclist and graphic designer who will discuss the process of designing a cycling typeface. Anna Damoli, an Italian type designer and calligrapher at Monotype London. Tina Touli multidisciplinary creative director, graphic communication designer and educator.
