If you’re anything like us at Koalaa then you may have a picture in your head about what prosthetics can do and what they look like. The reality is very different. We’ll be giving a behind-the-scenes look at what prosthetic limbs are like today, and how Koalaa is designing them completely differently for tomorrow.

Koalaa was formed to give limb different people around the world easy and affordable access to comfy, stylish and functional prosthetics and support that will help make their lives a little bit more enjoyable. Koalaa Prosthetics are a success story that encapsulates what is so incredible about the combination of design and industry in Park Royal. After graduating from Imperial College London, this group of designer-makers set out to create affordable, wearable prosthetics, making them accessible, and revolutionising the lives of limb-different people. Take a tour of their workshop whilst it's in action, learning about 3D printers, laser cutters, and the prototyping process. This event is powered by Echo - a local skill sharing community celebrating and sharing the talents of Park Royal's creative makers.
