Caroline Roux

Caroline Roux is a London-based writer who specialises in art and design. She is a regular contributor to the Financial Times and The Art Newspaper, among other titles. Roux worked at the Guardian for 7 years, where she edited the design magazine SPACE, before becoming a senior feature writer. She later worked on the launch issue of Wallpaper* magazine.

Roux' art and design knowledge is consistently maintained by studio visits with artists and makers, attendance at art fairs and biennales internationally, and the research she carries out prior to each interview she conducts.

Roux has interviewed the world’s greatest designers and artists, worked on books with Jaime Hayon and the late Richard Rogers, and moderated talks with major figures – most recently the architects Francis Kéré and Kulapat Yantrasast.

For Global Design Forum İstanbul, she will be interviewing Hussein Chalayan MBE who she has known since his graduation from St Martins School of Art.
