Forest Swords

Forest Swords is composer, artist and designer Matthew Barnes, based in Liverpool, UK.

Barnes is known for creating innovative electronic sound worlds, including acclaimed albums, remixes for Björk and collaborations with artists like Massive Attack.

Barnes has scored music for Microsoft/Xbox video game 'As Dusk Falls', BAFTA nominated movie 'Wasteman' and projects for Norwegian National Ballet, Issey Miyake and Tom Ford.

He tours across the world and regularly collaborates with speculative architect Liam Young on artworks and installations featured in festivals such as Melbourne Triennial and Shanghai Biennale.
