Pita Arreola

Pita Arreola is Head of Programmes at arebyte Digital Art Centre, where she leads the organisation's artistic programme. With over fifteen years of experience in the arts, she has worked closely with artists and creatives to develop experimental projects that critically examine the social and cultural impact of emerging technologies. She is also Co-Founder of Off Site Project, a curatorial platform dedicated to supporting emerging talent in digital and media art.
From 2021 to 2024, Pita served as Curator of Digital Art at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where she co-edited Digital Art:1960s-Now (V&A,Thames & Hudson, 2024), a book tracing the histories and evolution of digital arts.
Pita is a juror for The Artist Prize, an initiative by Firstsite and Zealous; and serves on the International Selectors Committee for the Lumen Prize for Art and Technology.
