Aram was launched in 1964 by the young and energetic Zeev Aram. His controversial showroom on the vibrant King’s Road introduced internationally sourced modern furniture and lighting to the UK for the first time as well as creating interior design schemes. Today the company is based in a redeveloped Victorian warehouse space in Covent Garden and is home to Aram Store - a destination retail experience of furniture, lighting and home accessories over four spacious floors. Also there is Aram Contracts, a dedicated team which focuses on commercial design projects and The Aram Gallery, a non-commercial space for Experimental and New Design.
