Hosted on Instagram, Chair of Virtue is a digital visual magazine with a cult following, dedicated to promoting new concepts and artistic explorations in the area of sculptural chair design. The platform features selected pieces from established and emerging talent as well as archival material, in order to inspire and provoke conversation and exploration of understanding the design processes and the intersection of functionality and art - the relationship between aesthetics, function and design. Founded and curated by Adam Maryniak, a Cracow native London based maker with background in scenic carpentry, art fabrication and sculpture, since 2020 focused on encouraging the conversation and exploration of design of sculptural objects scene by researching, making and giving platform to up and coming makers from around the world.
