Collectarium

Collectarium is a publishing platform that designs activities to create collections to engage audiences into new ways of seeing. Our website acts as a repository for each of Collectarium's individual collections, which together reveal the capacity for acts of collecting, sorting, and categorising to catalyse new ideologies, methodologies, and opportunities for participatory and collective design. Allyson Waller and Sophie Beard are both graphic designers and senior lecturers at University of Brighton & The University of Greenwich. This project is in collaboration with Peter Maloney, senior lecturer at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, MA Interior & Spatial Design. He has exhibited and presented his design research in the UK, Europe and America. His research is concerned with worldbuilding in spatial design practice.
