County Hall Pottery is to be reignited in 2024, two electric and one gas kiln were installed at County Hall in 2010, but have sat idle for a few years. With the support of County Hall Arts three kilns and three spaces are being reconfigured to create a dedicated space for the support of pottery at all stages and in all guises. We hope to build on our links with ceramics in Kyoto, Scandinavian Artists and residency programs creating exhibitions with international artists and hosting artist dinners and master class workshops with those artists. Through our residency programme we hope to support those with a passion for ceramics at any age and stage in life. Through financial support and access to equipment and learning, accumulating in an exhibition in our gallery space. Our pottery studio school will have a range of classes with an array of teachers with different specialism’s. Ranging from 9 month courses to day course we hope to inspire and create an appreciation of pottery.
