Czech Centre London has been operating since 1993 as the cultural institute of the Czech Republic in the United Kingdom. In collaboration with British cultural organisations, universities, festivals and other partners, we deliver a year-round programme focused on contemporary Czech culture, art, literature, film, music, design, architecture, social issues, science and innovation. We are an open-door institution and welcome wide public to our events and discussions. Alongside our own projects, the Centre supports the presentation of Czech artists and institutions in the UK and creates opportunities for dialogue and collaboration between the Czech and British cultural scenes. An important part of the Centre’s activities is also the teaching of the Czech language and the administration of certified Czech language examinations. Czech Centre London is a member of the EUNIC London network of European cultural institutes.
