Das Programm

Das Programm is an archive of Braun industrial design with a focus on audio products of the 1960s run by Peter Kapos. The product archive is used as the focus of seminars that we run for industrial design studios. Peter is an active researcher, currently writing a cultural history of audio design for Phaidon Press, and a design curator. For LDF25 we will present a small exhibition of contemporary industrial design from our space. Confirmed exhibitors - John Tree, Michael Marriott, Industrial Facility + a further 15 awaiting confirmation. To be very transparent, none of this makes any money. Our aim is to cover the rent of our spaces by running x6 seminars a month (currently less than half that number). Curatorially, the idea is to reflect on the relationship between historic and contemporary design practices. Commercially, the idea is a v. low key promotion of seminars.
