Proof of Concept

Transformed into a must-visit hub of creativity in the centre of Shoreditch is 83 Rivington Street. At its core is the "Proof of Concept" exhibition, starring ten emerging designers across furniture, product design, ceramics, textiles, and architecture. Each display pairs final designs with 'proof of concept' prototypes, sketches, and models. This exhibition offers a unique platform for innovative self-initiated designs, products that didn’t make it to market, and existing designs, shedding light on the extensive development journey behind each creation. Featuring talents like David Irwin, SmithMatthias, Atelier Thirty Four, Daniel Schofield, Mac Collins, Emma Louise Payne, and Studio Mutt. Fuelling the experience, Newcastle’s Cook House and Long Friday serve up casual, all-day dining, while UK furniture brands Origin and Deadgood furnish spaces with style and comfort.
