Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub) accelerates ideas into impact for a more just world - for disabled people, and all people. A world-leading Academic Research and Practice Centre based at University College London (UCL) London, we develop emerging technologies alongside new knowledge and research. A legacy of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, our portfolio spans innovation, market building, international development and consultancy. Working across 40 countries we've reached 64 million people since 2016. We are the first WHO Global Collaborating Centre on Assistive Technology. Our unique structure - consisting of both an Academic Research Centre and a non-profit Community Interest Company - enables rapid translation of research into practice, so we can make a bigger difference more quickly. Our vision is for disability inclusion and social justice. We work towards a world without barriers to participation, where everyone has the opportunity to live a joyful life.
