ili architects is a London-based architecture and design studio working across British and Chinese design cultures. Its work spans interiors, cultural projects and installations. The studio delivers residential and commercial projects in the UK, while collaborating with design teams based in China. The two contexts hold different assumptions about how a space is made: how much is drawn, how much is decided on site, what a detail is expected to carry. ili works between them, and that position shapes how the studio designs.
