Owen Brouwer uses spatial storytelling to capture different aspects of the city, the architecture and the people that live within. Each work, in whatever medium physical or filmic is a spatial dedication to a particular subject, place or subculture. The first collection launch uses jewellery making to shine a light on the floral motifs found in London's Victorian architecture. A simple bike trailer is retrofitted to house a large steel wire mesh sculpture on top, the ''nomadic totem cart''. It travels around london acting as a mobile pop shop in which people can view the jewellery collection on the street.
