Makerversity is a creative community for makers, designers and entrepreneurs based in the basement of Somerset House, right in the heart of London. We give members access to industrial professional grade workshops, expert mentorship and a 300+ strong community of people who love making things. We have 7 workshops: from Material Exploration, Engineering, Digital Fabrication, The Land Lab, Fashion and more. With weekly free inductions on everything we have here, members learn to elevate their practice: whether that's laser cutting fabric compared to 20 hours pattern cutting, or 3D printing in wax for jewellery casting. Whatever you're working on, there's a tool, a Makerversity technician or a friendly other maker who's tried, tested and failed that process already so you don't have to.
