Mykola Kabluka is a Ukrainian leading artist and lighting designer with a growing global presence, founder and art director of Expolight, and one of the leading figures in contemporary media art. He is an associate member of the IALD and IES — the most prestigious international organizations in the field of lighting design. Mykola has been working with architectural and artistic lighting for over 25 years, shaping the culture of lighting design in Ukraine. He holds a Master of Arts in Architectural Lighting Design from Hochschule Wismar (Germany). Mykola’s work explores the boundaries between art, technology, and human emotion. Over the years, he has completed over 2,000 lighting projects in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and North Africa. He represented Ukraine at the 2025 Burning Man festival in the U.S. with the light installation “The Point of Unity”.
