The New School of the Anthropocene is a counter-nihilism project: a radical & affordable experiment in interdisciplinary higher education in collaboration with the Art Workers’ Guild in Bloomsbury. We're an ensemble of experienced international academics who, in the company of diverse artists & practitioners, are working to advance the values of intellectual adventure & creative risk in the face of the bureaucratic, financial & authoritarian attacks on university education. We offer a masters-level Diploma in the Environmental Humanities, which orbits the critical-creative seam. Our curriculum is dedicated to addressing biopolitical emergency, climate justice & the renegotiation of relationships between human & more-than-human worlds through the Arts & Humanities. We operate a pay-what-you-can scheme and those fleeing conflict study with us free of charge. Our classes are live-streamed across the planet & we regard every student as a researcher regardless of qualifications held.
