Parali by Aarushi is a sustainable textiles brand founded in 2022 by Aarushi Mittal, a designer passionate about environmental impact and upcycling. Parali transforms agricultural residue, especially rice straw, into functional and aesthetically appealing surfaces and products, addressing the pressing issue of crop residue burning. Drawing inspiration from nature, local traditions, and the journey of food from farm to table, Parali promotes awareness about the environmental afterlife of textiles. The brand has upcycled over 2,200 kg of rice straw, raising global awareness of the harmful effects of field burning.
