Paul Smith is Britain’s leading independent design company and a true fashion institution. Beginning in 1970 with a single 3m² shop in Nottingham, England, it has grown into a global enterprise, with 90 shops across 20 countries. All throughout this, the guiding principle has been our design philosophy of ‘classic with a twist.' At the heart of the company is our eponymous founder, Sir Paul Smith (you can call him Paul). Designer, master shopkeeper, and face of the brand, he continues to lead and shape the business after more than five decades at the helm.
