SICIS was born in Ravenna in 1987 from the founder’s idea to modernize the role of mosaic and mosaic art thanks to a process of studies and research that enhanced the flexibility and transformation of its uses in every surfaces. Thanks to a detailed development action that over the years has brilliantly combined traditional contributions with technological and industrial innovation, the company produces glass tesserae of the highest quality, superior from any other industry on the market, in different sizes, formats and materials. Over the years SICIS has favoured artistic and artisan research combined with an increasing experimentation and production of new materials together with innovative coating products with excellent technical and aesthetic qualities, such as Iridium iridescent glass with photocatalytic properties, Glimmer transparent coloured glass, Biophilia antibacterial glass, Vetrite big glass slabs, photovoltaic glass and many others.
