sketch

sketch’s home, 9 Conduit Street, is a Grade II* listed building designed by James Wyatt in 1779. It has served as the headquarters of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the London Atelier of Christian Dior. sketch was inaugurated in 2002 by restaurateur Mourad Mazouz and three-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire. As a destination for food, art, and music, sketch continues to contribute to the building’s heritage as a site of creative experimentation. The venue includes the three Michelin-starred Lecture Room and Library, the all-day Parlour, the gastro brasserie Gallery (currently featuring art by Yinka Shonibare), the enchanted Glade, and the intimate East Bar.
