Tiipoi is a design studio based in London with a workshop in Bangalore. Tiipoi believes there is more to Indian design than something with an elephant stuck on it, and that craft has more to offer than simply repeating the past. Over the years, Tiipoi has created a new narrative for products made in India - one that is real and connected to the source. Rather than tell nostalgic stories of India's past, Tiipoi prefers to highlight its role in contemporary design, blurring the boundaries of industrial design and craft. Tiipoi was founded in 2013 by Spandana Gopal. Andre Pereira is Tiipoi's product designer.
