Anab Jain is a designer, filmmaker, futurist and educator. Born and raised in India's postcolonial landscapes, she rejects fatalism for feral hope: a rigorous practice of attentive care in an era of planetary unravelling. She studied filmmaking at the National Institute of Design before earning a Masters at the Royal College of Art. In 2009, with Jon Ardern, Anab established Superflux, an award-winning design studio and artistic practice based in London. Rooted in speculative design, critical foresight, and experiential futures, Superflux practices an archaeology of the future. Its work invites audiences to step into possible worlds to touch, breathe, and feel them, returning a sense of agency to the choices we make today. Under Anab and Jon's leadership, Superflux holds a simple but demanding commitment: to rewild the ecological, social, and cultural imagination at a moment when the space for such work is rapidly closing.
