Arjun Singh Assa, who hails from Kenya, his journey in design and making began in his family's furniture business in Mombasa. He was awarded a scholarship for his first year of study on Nottingham Trent University's Furniture and Product Design degree. He gained a First Class Honours and won 100% Design's Product of the Year award in 2019 for his 'weave chair'. He is currently an Operations Manager at Pluck, a London based kitchen design company. Arjun leads a team of designers and makers in the production of bespoke kitchen cabinetry and furniture.
