Baum & Leahy

Baum and Leahy is an artist duo working across visual art, installation, sculpture and public engagement. Their practice brings together ecological thinking, scientific research and sensory worldmaking through collaborations with scientists and cultural practitioners, shaped through multisensory experience, spatial immersion and material storytelling. Amanda Baum and Rose Leahy work between Copenhagen and London. Their work has been exhibited at Wellcome Collection, Modern Art Oxford, Somerset House, the V&A, Kunsthal Charlottenborg, the National Gallery of Denmark, Nieuwe Instituut, the Centre de Cultura Contemporania de Barcelona and Art Laboratory Berlin. Recent activities include a visiting arts fellowship at the University of Edinburgh, a sustainability project with Medical Museion and the Technical University of Denmark, and the STARTS MUSAE residency Food as Medicine. Awards include the MASSEE Arts Grant, Bio Art and Design Award and the British Library Labs Artistic Award.
