Ben is a RIBA chartered architect with more than 10 years of experience working on projects across the UK. Projects include large-scale urban regeneration projects, complex retrofits and contemporary workplaces. Ben is currently leading 7N Architects’ work with Network Rail to develop exemplar designs for sustainable and community focussed railway stations that will be implemented across the UK. Prior to joining 7N in 2018, he was an associate at Ben Adams Architects in London where he played a key role in the growth of the practice and led a range of projects including proposals for a new entrance to Watford Junction station and surrounding re-development. Ben graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2009 and 2012. His master’s thesis exploring the impact of sea level rise on low-lying cities was nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medal and won the RIAS Urban Design Award. As an undergraduate Ben was awarded the RIAS Medal for Best Part I Student in Scotland.
