Dr Calum Fraser has dedicated his career to the whisky industry, earning renown as a master blender for some of the world's most globally recognised spirits. Calum achieved a First-Class Honours in MSci in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, earning him the title of 'Doctor'. Since joining Suntory Global Spirits in 2022, he has guided the creation of celebrated Scotch and Irish whiskies, including Laphroaig, Bowmore, Auchentoshan, Ardmore, and Glen Garioch single malts, Teacher's and Ardray blends, and Connemara, Kilbeggan, and Tyrconnell Irish whiskeys. In his current role, he continues to ensure the highest quality and consistency of the spirits under his care, while actively contributing to new product development and promoting these distinguished brands worldwide.
