Francesca Sarti is an interdisciplinary designer who combines her fields of interest with experiences and research. She focuses on the world around us through a critical and creative filter on art, design and food, carving out new areas of knowledge in the process. Due to her extensive knowledge of design and food, Sarti has been asked to work on a variety of projects for international clients and institutions including: the British Council, MAXXI, MUDAM Luxembourg, the Design Museum, Gruppo Illy, Selfridges, Burberry, Fendi, Toogood, Molteni, Bitossi, Gaggenau, Aesop. Sarti continues to explore her own research and is an advocate of the food design discipline. She holds recent teaching posts at ECAL L'École cantonale d'art de Lausanne and SPD. Sarti trained as an architect in Florence before establishing her design studio and moving to London where she now lives and works.
