Giles Tettey Nartey

Giles Tettey Nartey is a British-Ghanaian multi-disciplinary artist and architect. His research-based practice spans filmmaking, installation, performance, and object design, rooted in West African culture and exploring the relationship between craft and ritual. Giles is an Associate Professor at the Bartlett School of Architecture and co-leads a diploma unit at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. Named a 'Future Icon' by Wallpaper* Magazine and a 'Rising Star' by House & Garden Magazine in 2024, his practice continues to explore the material and immaterial, bridging academia and practice through design-led investigations.
