Judith van den Boom is Course Leader of the new MA Regenerative Design at Central Saint Martins at UAL and will be focussing on building an international cohort that stewards meaningful engagement, strengthens living systems and nurtures a rhizome network. Besides her work at CSM, Judith is a designer and initiator. The directionality of Judith’s work stems from an attitude driven by activism and the mentality to stimulate and navigate towards holistic, life-giving design practices. With a MA from the Royal College of Art, Judith is currently developing her PhD at the Manchester School of Art with a focus on eco-literacy and eco-centric principles in design toward more regenerative practices. With 15 years of international practice, Judith collaborated with partners such as BioDesign Challenge, CAMPER Lab, Design Inquiry, Slow Research Lab and universities globally.
