Kristian Volsing is Senior Curator for the Contemporary Programme at the V&A, where he collaborates with artists and designers to shape the museum’s Friday Late events. His work looks at how design and pop culture influence everyday life, with a focus on digital culture, identity, and social change. Kristian has worked on major projects like Young V&A (Art Fund Museum of the Year 2024), the public network for V&A East Storehouse, and the exhibition Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt (2018), which helped reframe gaming as a serious cultural and design practice. His curatorial approach encourages participation and connection—inviting people to engage with objects, ideas, and each other in new ways.
