Margaret Cubbageis a curator of design and architecture, collaborating and commissioning new exhibitions and installations across different disciplines. She previously worked at the Design Museum for over 10 years and was responsible for the development of the Designers in Residence programme, developing concepts and providing a unique platform for emerging design talent. She is currently a curator at the RIBA, as well as working freelance on the curation of programmes and events, including Global Design Forum in 2021. She has curated a range of high-profile exhibitions, including the first iterations of Designs of the Yearat the Design Museum in 2008 and 2009; Wim Crouwel: a graphic odyssey; Hope to Nope: Graphics and politics 2008-18; In the Makingwith Ed Barber and Jay Osgerby and Super Contemporary. She recently worked with Charles Holland and Di Mainstone on the exhibition Radical Rooms: Power of the plan.
