Michael is the Founder & Director of Design Connect and is a strategic consultant and lecturer at IED. Trained in 3D design in Northern Ireland and Germany, he established his solo, design strategy and facilitation consultancy, Design Connect, in London in 1995 to help businesses and organisations around the world evolve their visions and strategies for growth. A former Board member of WDO, President of BEDA and Design Ambassador to Japan, as well as an Honorary Fellow of Aalto University, he continues to work with an international client list of design consultancies and global corporate clients. Currently, he is working on design-led client projects in Austria and the UK and recently sat as a jury member on the Taiwan National Design Awards.
