Londoner, Tom Lloyd co-founded Industrial Design studio Pearson Lloyd with Luke Pearson in 1997, after the pair met at the Royal College of Art. The studio creates products, services and spaces for people at home, at work and on the move and was named Dezeen Designer of the Year in 2023. Today, seeking balance between the needs of people, place and planet lie at the heart of Tom’s practice. Tom served as Master of the Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry (2021–23) and received an Honorary Doctor of Design from Nottingham Trent University in 2022.
