PriestmanGoode presents Route to Zero and Material Mind showcasing how designers can spark meaningful change in what we make and how we think by reframing briefs, driving systemic change and looking beyond surface aesthetics to the full life and impact of materials.

At Material Matters 2025, PriestmanGoode will showcase the evolution of Route to Zero, our strategic framework that embeds sustainability at every stage of the design process. We will present a curated installation featuring a wide range of innovative and responsibly sourced materials that reflect our work across the transportation and mobility sectors. Each material has been selected for its performance, traceability, and end-of-life potential, forming part of our ongoing commitment to integrate environmental responsibility into design thinking. We will also show the latest developments in our Material Mind database, an interactive research tool designed to help our designers and clients navigate the complex world of sustainable materials. This evolving digital platform brings together technical data, lifecycle analysis, and visual references, enabling more informed and responsible material decisions from the earliest stages of the design process. Together, these concepts demonstrate PriestmanGoode’s commitment to shaping a better future through design. PriestmanGoode is a supporter of the Design Council's Skills for Planet mission, which aims to upskill 1 million designers with green skills by 2030.
